I think that's the lesson of the week-ish...
If you don't ask, you'll never know...
...kind of goes in hand with carpe diem - sieze the day.
What's the worst that could happen, at worst you're no better off than where you are now.
Get a little bit cheeky, just ask them to bring that price down or throw something in, don't get hooked up on 'what if's'. Wear those lucky pants, watch that guilty pleasure that makes you feel like a hero.
