Human breed standard

Ellie and I we're both very non-standard and non-conformist

I was watching an episode of It's Me or The Dog recently and it was focussed around Crufts and dog showing. And a rather random thought popped into my head that tickled me and I thought I'd share...

...at a dog show "judges familiar with specific dog breeds evaluate individual dogs for how well they conform to published breed standards". (Quoted from Wikipedia) So someone has written how a decent example of how/what this or that dog breed will look and behave...

...my random thought was, could you imagine if they tried to write a breed standard for a person? It would be practically impossible.

...would we consider celebrities as 'breed standards' for some when people tried to imitate their favourite celeb- for example Paris Hilton- tanned, blonde, hair extensions, certain body shape. It's bizarre when you think of it in terms like that, or say, following fashion- trying to conform to that trend's breed standard or being size zero. Wierd.

It's impossible and just proves the point that we're are brilliant and individual and maybe we should embrace that? Just saying.
