X Factor, last Sunday had Susan Boyle (overnight hermit-turned Britain's Got Talent super star) and Mariah Carey performing.

Both of their songs where covers of older songs both more rocky in origin.

Just goes to show that the old ones are the best when divas with presumably the monopoly on the world's best writers and producers, are singing old songs, right?

Here's the thing... they should have left well alone because the rockier and rawer sounding originals are way better than these over-produced efforts.
