On Michael Jackson's death....
Friday, June 26, 2009 at 08:43AM I couldn't even call myself a casual fan, to be honest. However it is easy to appreciate the magnitude of his existence to his family, fans, the music industry, the media and pop culture.
And it's going to continue to be circus for a while to come, with autopsy results, conspiracy theories, custody of the children, tour aftermath. Everyone will have a theory.
And as time goes by he will be rightly remembered for his art and music, rather than the controversy.

It smarts when the world loses it's heros... Freddie Mercury... Steve Irwin.
Police seize drugs from Jackson's home.
Like I said. Circus.
The morbid curiosity continues.
Lisa Marie Presley - daughter of Elvis and ex-wife of Michael Jackson, said of his death 'Michael knew he would die like this', in a very open and honest Myspace entry.
This seems very reminisent of something Terri Irwin, widow of Steve Irwin wrote in her book Steve and Me. Steve seemed to know he'd die young.
Maybe it's just a bizarre coincidence.
The plot just gets thicker. And it isn't going to stop anytime soon.

Turns out that Channel 4's TNT Show (a comedy sketch show) had to cut the transmission of the last few minutes, because they had a Michael Jackson sketch in there that had been filmed two days before... and as it was about to show, reports of Michael Jackson's death were coming in, forcing the emergancy edit.
Jeez, read this about the autopsy results. Really awful.
